YWAM Programs & Trainings

Many YWAm Programs combine theory with practical application. They usually last a few weeks seminars or workshop to three to nine months for training. YWAM courses are often called “schools,”  For many YWAM students or program attendees, the intensive learning combining lecture to practical personal application and some time community living makes for a transformational experience.

The mission all our programs is to help participants develop their character and relationship with God but also to empower them to live and represent the Kingdom of God wherever they find themselves .

We have in the past few years started developing Part Time and virtual trainings and Program when  possible.

Full Time Training and Programs

YWAM’s full time live-in training or programs are where students and facilitators all reside on the same compound or near each other  throughout the lecture phase at the YWAM campus, and during the outreach phase they travel and serve together. These are the perfect programs for you when you want to take a time off to deepen your relationship with God.

A season away from the busyness of life, to being busy searching God, this is the perfect environment to focus on something different and consider what God has in store for you. Below are some of our full time living programs.

Discipleship Community

The YWAM DTS

The YWAM Discipleship Training School (DTS) in St. Lucia is a five month (often Jan to June) full time live-in program. It offers a unique time in your life to focus on who God made you to be and what He wants you to do before moving on. You will deepen your relationship with God and experience serving in different ways! A perfect gap year program for those in need of one!
During our Bible focused DTS Students are challenged to read and complete the Bible by the end of the program.

Summer  Adventures

Every year between mid July and early August The YWAM Saint Lucia Summer Mission Adventure is on. It is a time for Training, Recreation, and Service that is designed for teens and young adults between 13 and 25 years old.  This is one or two weeks to deepen your relationship with God and to grow in serving others. Youth meet their peer groups from various cultures. Ferry traveling to nearby islands is often considered. Every year we also have a few people over 25, if this is you, we can discuss how to better integrate you.

YWAM St. Lucia is now offering part time training and programs for people who don’t want to let their busy life prevent them from deepening their relationship with God and desire to follow the call of their heart to serve and be a blessing beyond their four walls. Workshop/ Conference

Inductive Bible Study

In our commitment to know more about God everyday we challenge believers to read and study the whole bible, book by book. We hold a weekly Bible study at the YWAM base using the inductive approach to systematically, Read, Observe, Interpret, and apply the Bible to our lives: Personal, Family, Community and Nations.

This is done through an interactive question and answer exercise; every one is invited. The sessions  are now available online Via a virtual zoom platform.

MDTS Level 1


Mini or Mission & Discipleship Training School - Level 1

This part time course is half of the content found in a standard DTS. In a150 hour part time schedule over six months, an average 6 hours per week. You want to have a taste of a YWAM DTS but don’t have the time to engage in a full time live in course just yet? This program is for you!

MDTS Level 2


Mini or Mission & Discipleship Training School - Level 2

This part time program is the natural continuation of the level1 course. It is for those who want to have a tastes of the standard YWAM DTS content but do not have the ability to engage in a full time live in program.
The topics covered are those left out of the level1 program. It will take about 150 hours stretched over 6 months, about 6 hour per week, to complete this program.
