A multidisciplinary pilot and trainings centre equipping with holistic development skills and launching outreaches and teams to reach the least reached and more vulnerable with the Love of God.
A HOLISTIC CENTRE INCLUDING AMONG OTHER
- A training components where a training the process is base on Christian values but also practical skill to equip the whole man to manifest love.
- The centre will include A workshop or pilot project including wood work, metal work, renewable energy, next generation agriculture etc… An integrated ywam centre Networking, with a many technical, vocational and skill training.
- The small to medium size pilot production unit integrating: Renewable energy, Aquaponic and workshops (wood work metal work, Computer, mechanic, renewable energy, next generation Agriculture): Resources generated will allow the centre to cut down it's running cost, be sustainable.
- A resource centre including a library or computer room.
- Children ministries with educational and recreational infrastructure
- A Biblical base early childhood centre
- A transit Home for Young people interested who need to get ready to face everyday life from government care protection or other: this will be essential for their transition to normal life with a wholistic development of in mind.
- A Caribbean wave centre welcoming teams but also equipping and sending teams of volunteers from all nations to were ever the needs are in the nations
WHAT WE NEED:
1- A Property in Saint Lucia (between 2 to 10 acres) to serve as YWAM Saint Lucia campus where the following projects could be developed:
2- A 30 to 40 beds dormitory for on-campus single students, staff, and volunteers
3- Five or more small housing apartments for about 6 small families (students or staff)
4- two or three Classrooms for training each average 20 students each
5- two Workshops for skills training , maintenance, self-sufficiency in energy production
6- A small Conference hall that can hold about 100 persons
7- two small apartment to extend hospitality or a place where missionaries on break or passing by can rest.
8- A Kitchen and refectory
9- A small multi sports complex area
10- A Kids play ground
11- Two prayer room and park
12- A main office apartment with waiting room for Visitors.
13- A small to medium size pilot farm (1 to 3 acres) that can serve as training farm and supply some of the nutritional needs of the base, The farm can also serve as rehabilitation for person in need but also an organic production unit.
14- Christian school project that can be delocalized
Budget:
- Property and main infrastructures: With about US$ 750K we can acquire a property with some or without some structures on it and develop the component needed. We have noting down yet toward this
- A mini bus : to help with the transit of the children and volunteers: models we are looking are available locally for about US$ 70K so far promise of about US$45K toward the minibus
